Reading A :Ramayana

King Dasharatha:

There are two kingdoms: His kingdom is mighty but he could not have kids.

Dasharatha's Sons:
Two women were sacrificing animals for Dasharata and 4 sons were promised to him by the gods.

Rama: Avatar of Vishnu:
Ravana was invulnerable to gods. Vishnu divides himself into 4 to be Dasaratha's sons so that he could defeat Ravana. Rama was the prettiest.

Vishvamitra:

Rama and his brother went out to destroy Ravana with Vishvamitra's help.

Thataka:

Rama destroyed a wicked lady that had evil abilities.He was blessed with weapons that would appear when he wanted them. A band of evil people were going to destroy a sacrifice but Rama thought of his weapons and destroyed those people. 

Bhagiratha and Ganga:

Bhagiratha let Ganga enter into the heavens 

Ahalya:

Rama asks about the hermitage and gets the story of  Gautama and Ahalya.Indra fell in love with Ahalya and disguised himself as Gautama in order to seduce her. 

Sita:

Rama and Sita fall in love.

King Janaka:

King Janaka said they bend the bow for Sita, his daughter 

Rama Wins Sita:

He snapped the bow. 

Parashurama:

 He was angry about Rama breaking the bow. Then he gave him a bow to pull back and it became ready to release. Parashurama was impressed and said glory to him. 

Rama and Sita's Wedding:

All the brothers got married!

Rama the Heir Apparent:

Dasharatha has to choose between his sons on who will rule, he chooses Rama.

Manthara and Kaikeyi:

Manthara did not rejoice in Rama becoming king, she was very weird looking. She a slave of Kaikeyi. She was given two boons (favors).

Kaikeyi and Dasharatha:

 1st wish Bharata will be the heir of king. 2nd wish is that Rama be banished for fourteen years to live in the jungle as a devotee clad in a robe of bark.

Rama is Banished:

Rama is sent away.

Rama Goes into Exile:

His wife and brother went with him 
(By India, Rajasthan, Bundi, Rama,Sita,Lakshmana,andHanuman)

Crossing the Rive:

They were not permitted to wear royal clothing.

Dasharatha's Karma:

He was given a horrible death because he accidentally killed a hermits child. 

Dasharatha's Death:

He dies.
