Week 8 Progress

Image
1. Looking back. Are you happy with your progress so far? Do you have a good weekly routine? What are the class assignments that you enjoy the most? Are you using any of the extra credit options? Yes, I am so happy with the progress. I have kept on track every week. I have only missed one assignment. I usually try to do the 3 homeoworks on Monday and Tuesday anad then the last 3 on Thursday. It works with my class and work schedule. I am not using the extra credit options. I feel like if I missed homework I would, but if I do all the homework I will make an A. 2. Looking forward. Are there any changes you want to make for the second half of the semester? Any pitfalls you want to avoid? Something new you want to try? I would like to not get as frustrated with the technonlgy side of things. I have gotten way better and I plan to keep on working on it. I hope to avoid little slip ups and put more effort into my work. I want to try to write using your creative examples that you give u

Week 8 Comments and Feedback

Image
1. Feedback in. Overall, how would you rate the quality of the comments and feedback you are receiving from other students in the class? What kinds of comments are you finding to be the most useful? I do find the overall comments helpful. I give it like an 8 out 10. I find the comments that are very specific to be the most helpful. Comments that are broad leave me feeling overwhelmed and unsure of what to do exactly.  I like to be told what to do and how to do it. 2. Feedback out. Similarly, how would you rate the quality of the comments and feedback you are leaving for other students? Have you found some good feedback strategies? Are you getting some good ideas for your own writing as you analyze other people's writing? I feel like I leave more uplifting comments than criticizing ones. I could improve on leaving more critical comments. I like to do the wow, how, and what if way of leaving comments.  I love being able to read other people's stories and I have gotten some

Week 8 Reading and Writing

Image
 1. Looking back. Overall, how well are the reading and writing assignments working for you? What has been your favorite reading so far? Are your reading notes helping you each week with your story post? Have you discovered any new reading/research strategies? Are you happy with your class project? What do you consider to be your biggest accomplishment(s) in your writing for this class? I realized that I have gotten better at writing stories and making them better. I have gotten better at grammar mistakes and catching them before they are too late. This class has really opened my eyes to how easily I glaze over grammar. I have never been good at grammar but I feel like this class is helping. Especially the blog. I have really enjoyed reading the stories and then making a twist on my own. My favorite reading is probably The Ramayana. The story was such a different epic than any other American one. It had love, fighting, and drama. It was easy to take notes over the story because I enj
