Sugriva and Hanumanollowing 

Rama and Lakshmana leave Shabari's hermitage and run into Sugriva, a monkey-king that they are supposed to find


Sugriva's Story
Sugriva wants Rama to fight Vali

Sugriva and Vali

Tara the wife of Vali begs him not to fight Sugriva because he has Rama on his side.

Vali's Death

Rama helps Sugriva but kills him behind the bushes while hiding.

King Sugriva

Mourning for the death.

The Rainy Season

The new King Sugriva wants to help Rama find Sita but Rama cannot do much but wait. 

The Armies

He sends monkeys and bears to find Sita

Sampati

A bird tells them that they are in the right direction because Ravana told him.

Sampati and Jatayu

The monkeys and bears want to know about Sampati, the bird brother of Jatayu and how they grew up.

Hanuman's Leap

He was told his great birth story and how he was birthed from a wing God. The bear was trying to convince him that he could make the leap to get to Sita in Lanka.

He finds Ravana but not Sita.

The Ashoka Grove

She's being guarded in the forest outside of the city.

Sita and Ravana

Ravana is still trying to persuade her to take him. She was threatened.

Hanuman and Sita

He saves her but does not carry her.

Hanuman Captured

He was overtaken because he wanted revenge from Ravana.

Hanuman and Ravana

Ravana set his tail on fire.

The Burning of Lanka

But his tail did not hurt and it was a sign to the rest that they found Sita. He escaped and ran back to them.

The March on Lanka

Ravana's Court

War begins because he does not give back Sita to Rama

Vibhishana

Warns Ravana to give back Sita.
