Week 8 Comments and Feedback

1. Feedback in. Overall, how would you rate the quality of the comments and feedback you are receiving from other students in the class? What kinds of comments are you finding to be the most useful?
I do find the overall comments helpful. I give it like an 8 out 10. I find the comments that are very specific to be the most helpful. Comments that are broad leave me feeling overwhelmed and unsure of what to do exactly.  I like to be told what to do and how to do it.

2. Feedback out. Similarly, how would you rate the quality of the comments and feedback you are leaving for other students? Have you found some good feedback strategies? Are you getting some good ideas for your own writing as you analyze other people's writing?
I feel like I leave more uplifting comments than criticizing ones. I could improve on leaving more critical comments. I like to do the wow, how, and what if way of leaving comments.  I love being able to read other people's stories and I have gotten some ideas from them. I like to read how they make the story their own and how they went about it.

3. Blog comments. Do you have a sense of getting to know people by connecting with them at their blogs? Are you happy with how your Introduction post and how your blog, in general, provides a space where people can get to know you?
I feel like I have gotten to know some of them through their introduction. Some people just wrote about one thing about themselves. I feel like some people if I met them in real life we could be great friends. I'm sad this isn't in class. I am very happy with my introduction. I feel like it has a well-rounded view of me. I love all the sweet comments also.

4. Looking forward. What do you want/need to do differently to make the feedback assignments more useful for others and/or more useful for you? Do you want to make any changes to your blog? (There are some extra credit Tech Tips for that if you want to tinker and experiment!)
I think just really being present in reading their stories and leaving good comments. I think I have and others have been doing a great job at leaving good constructive comments. I would like to add more pizzazz to my blogs. Hopefully, I will learn more tech ideas.

5. Image. Take a look through the "Feedback Cats" and "Feedback Infographics" to find one that expresses what you think is a really important aspect of the feedback process, and explain why you chose that image in particular.

I chose this photo because it is cute and funny. It is also true. I love patterns and why certain things happen and why people say what they do. Patterns are everywhere and we can learn from those.
